Lily has officially discovered her hands! It’s so funny to watch her stare at them like they are the most incredible things she has ever seen. I guess hands are pretty incredible to a 2 month old baby!

Lily had her two month checkup today. The doctor said that she looks great! She is 11 lbs, 12 oz and 23″ long. She in the 50th – 75th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. The doctor said that she has a petite frame… except for her feet! So I guess it’s official… Lily has big feet. She also received three shots. Poor baby. She was such a champ though. She made her ‘fuss face’ and cried when she got stuck but she calmed down quickly. We go back at four months.
Lily had her first big road trip this weekend when we traveled to Wisconsin to visit Uncle Ryan and Aunt Hollynn. She was such a good baby. She slept for most of the drive and only had one fussy spell on the way there. We had a great time touring the UW campus and State Street. Lily even got some Badger gear! We had planned to take Lily to her first Badger football game but the weather was too cold and rainy so Mama and baby watched the game on TV.
Lily is indeed the littlest Hoosier! She attended her first IU Hoosier football game last weekend. She’s already a proud season ticket holder! She was such a good baby and helped cheer the Hoosiers to a win! Hopefully she’ll continue to bring luck to the football Hoosiers’ we need it!
Lily has given us her first smiles over the past couple of weeks! She’s so cute! In addition to smiles, she has been ‘cooing’ and babbling a lot more lately. It’s fun that she’s finally starting to interact with us more.
