Check out the new Belly Pictures! These are from 33 weeks. It feels like she has moved down some and I think the pictures are evidence of that. The lower part of my belly seems to be more round.

This isn’t really pregnancy related but it’s something that is going to take up a lot of our time until the baby arrives. Jude had surgery last week to repair a torn ligament in his right rear knee. He had this same surgery last August on his left rear leg. He’s on strict crate rest and is only allowed to walk around on leash for bathroom breaks. The recovery process takes about 6 weeks so hopefully he’ll be pretty well healed by the time Lily comes. This isn’t really how we pictured spending our last few weeks before the baby but I guess it’s better now than later.
We’ve pretty much got the nursery ready! We still need to add some decoration and, of course, get everything that is needed to care for a baby. Check out the Photos page for a peek at baby Lily’s room.
When we were on vacation in Orlando after we graduated in ‘99 we found a fun little machine in an arcade at Universal Studios. It claimed to be able to show show us what our kids would look like. It took a picture of each of us and asked if we wanted a boy or a girl. After a few minutes the picture came out. The results were surprising to say the least. Lily will be here in a few weeks, but we will have to wait a few years to see how accurate the machine was.
Less than 9 weeks to go! Our doctor’s appointment on Tuesday went well. Everything looks great and I passed the Gestational Diabetes test! Jason painted Lily’s room this morning. It looks so good. We chose a pale lavender. Hopefully we’ll have the furniture moved into the nursery by the end of the weekend. I think it’s going to be so cute!
